Wow! Ray Evernham debuts new series' car
The Evernham-Tony Stewart led Superstar Racing Experience pulls the wraps off their new car, which begins competition in June with six straight Saturday night races in prime time on CBS.
You asked for it, you patiently waited for it — and now it’s finally ready to make its debut.
The Superstar Racing Experience, the new IROC-style racing series that debuts in June backed by Tony Stewart and Ray Evernham, has unveiled what their new cars will look like.
To paraphrase basketball great Dick Vitale, these cars are “awesome, baby!”
The Superstar Racing Experience debuts in June and will run on six consecutive Saturday nights, televised in prime time on CBS.
Among drivers who have already committed to competing include Stewart, Bill Elliott, Bobby Labonte, Paul Tracy, Willy T. Ribbs, Marco Andretti, Helio Castroneves, Tony Kanaan, Michael Waltrip (we can hardly wait for the grid walk!) and many more.
Evernham joined us last month on the inaugural edition of The Racing Beat podcast. Click here to listen to that podcast and others with Rusty Wallace, Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, Kenny Bernstein and NHRA President Glen Cromwell.
